USS Nimitz aircraft carrier docked in Phuket, Thailand!

The USS Nimitz, a nuclear powered aircraft carrier, one of the largest in the world, was the star attraction for a group of local press to see & tour on board Together with USS Pickney & Rentz, they docked at Ao Makham, off the deep sea port. While our press gang walked the planks of Nimitz, up to 5,000 sailors were patiently lining up to leave or hanging around the hanger. They obediently follow their chain of command right up to the President, while we followed David Bennett, their Deputy Public Affairs Officer as he led us past some of the 60 aircraft both planes and helicopters, parked on the packed deck.

Dhanat 7 Years Old Multi-Talented Kid Played Elves Dance by E. Jenkinson!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2s-b9k5XPWkendofvid [starttext]This performance was on November 1, 2009 when Dhanat Plewtianyingthawee was 7 years old at Goethe Institute in Bangkok, Thailand.

Elves Dance was the song Dhanat played in the final round of a violin contest organized by Australia New Zealand Cultural Art (ANZCA) together with the Austrade -- Australian Embassy. He was the youngest in that competition and performed in the category of violinists aged under 11, and finally, he won a silver medal award.

He played with confident, entertained the audience with not only beautiful music but also his natural movement, eye-contact, and pleasant smiles.
